Well, my 17" (1.33) powerbook will NOT eject a disk for the life of me. It doesnt show it mounted up on the desktop either, so hitting and holding the eject button does nothing.

How am i supposed to get it out of there, since it's a slot loaded system, and there's no "pin hole" like a disk drive to open it up.

thanks :eek:neye:

holding down the trackpad button during starup should also eject the disk.

will resetting the PMU really work? none of the other options did.

why would the PMU affect the disk eject?

well, that worked :). I noticed my drive was starting to have trouble ejecting discs.. now it came out good as new. Maybe it just needed to be reset?

I also noticed, i have MUCH more available memory on my RAM now as well.

thanks!
