I purchased a Brother HL-2070N it is a network ready printer and plugs directly into my router, and works with my Mac as well as my PC and Linux boxes, In Canada it was $229.00.

I've got a Samsung ML-1210. Great printer, available cheap off eBay. I seem to remember having to get a driver or something from somewhere but it works great.

I bought the Samsung ML-2510 at our local Best Buy for $99.99 and it works great. I am able to use it in OS X, Windows, and Linux. I would recommend it.

I have a Brother HL2040 which works great with OSX. Cost me maybe $129 at Office Max. I have had it a year now and never had a problem with it.

HL-2040 is a very good printer, If I am correct its the same as the 2070N or very close to it except it is not network ready. Either way both are or seem to be very good.

I've got the Brother HL 2040. Great printer for the price. Btw, it's $90 w/ a rebate at Newegg.com.

I also have a Brother HL 2040. Watch Dealmac.com for sale specials. I got mine at OfficeMax on sale (reported on dealmac) for $69 plus a $20 rebate. Mine is connected to my old Dell PC and is shared to the network. My son's new iMac can print to it through the network perfectly. The setup was a breeze.
