Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.
I need a pioneer burner for my powermac for dvd burning purposes, the dvd media I want to use requires/strongly suggests a pioneer burner. My question is are there any good external options, or would you recommend a internal option. If you had to put one in your mac which one would you get?

I am just curious, why does it require/strongly suggest a pioneer?
