Computer power gone in the morning?

Question: I am having problems lately with my battery. I charge my computer all the way up to 100% before I get in bed....I take it off the charger and play around with it for a few minutes....and then completely turn it off (and I am sure it is completely off)...put it next to my bed....

When I wake up in the morning, the battery is completely dead.

Has done this for weeks.

Any idea why?

how many times has the battery been charged? how old is the computer? is the computer under warranty? It sounds to me like you MAY have a bad battery.
