I'm shopping around for new headphones for Christmas and I'm not sure which ones to get (iPod headphones aren't cutting it). I'm really interested in Sennheiser but there are SO many things to consider..I'm not looking to buy an amp or anything, I just want the best headphones to plug into a regular audio jack..any suggestions?

Too bad your asking this now, because these headphones used to be on sale (for about 6 months) on amazon for ~$60. And they're easily worth $200. So even at $110, they're a steal. And they match your ipod perfectly!

Bar none, these are the best 'phones I have ever used. It's like they add another dimension to your music. And they include a special "extra bass" mode if you like your bass to hit hard and heavy. But, you can also disable it via the built in controller.

These headphones will not do you wrong.

I have been very pleased with my Etymotic er6i's in the 2 years I have used them. I am looking into a set of can's for use at my desk since my iPod is usually somewhere else

I love my Shure E2Cs. I commute via train every day and this blocks out everything but my tunes.

I think the Apple Store sells these now, too.

Best earbuds I've used so far (Ex Sony, Ex Shure E3C).

I like Shure's e3c. Sound great, can be used anywhere and really comfortable!

Has anyone tried the new Bose earbuds?

Usually, I find Bose products to be overpriced and overhyped, and I was wondering if anyone tried them yet.
