I *think* that 750 GB is the biggest *single* drive available. When you buy one of those 1 TB or larger drives, I believe it is actually two physical drives in one enclosure, using something like LVM (Logical Volume Management) to make them look like one extended drive. Certainly all of the 1 TB drives I have seen are in VERY thick packages, quite consistent with containing two physical drives.
