iMac 20" 2Ghz Core Duo 250GB HD 256MB ATI x1600 2GB RAM 300GB Maxtor Ext HD Firewire 800 Edition
I was wondering why the Imac 20" 2.16 core 2 duo received a higher speed score than the Macbook Pro 15.4 inch 2.33 core 2duo?

I don't understand. Macbook Pro has better specs too. I'm wondering becuz I'm purchasing the 15" Macbook Pro 2.33ghz.

I don't know what you mean by "speed score", you'll have to elaborate on where you've gotten your benchmarking statistics from.

It's possible the MBP is suffering from the default 5400 RPM hard drive, since the iMac has a 7200 RPM hard drive. The other possibility is the fact that the 15" MBP, unlike the 17" version and the iMac, has an underclocked version of the video card inside it, if your tests have to do with graphics performance.
