Resizing partitions

I installed boot camp and i got a dual boot xp / osx.
i now realize that i gave to little space to my windows partition
how should i go about to change the size of it

I have seen this question asked in the past, and the usual answer posted back is that the only way to change the partition sizes is to re-install! I doubt that you will find any software that can read/write/resize both Mac OS and NTFS partitions at the same time. If you do find such a thing, let us all know (please!), but if not, you may be stuck. A full re-install of your Windows environment may be required.

would it not be possible to boot gparted and change the size, or would that just mess up everything
