Hello all,
With my old desktop PC, my video card had a separate s-video output which allowed me to use my TV as a 2nd monitor. When I played DVDs or any movie file, it would automatically full screen on my TV in "theater mode" and I could minimize the video on my main monitor and continue doing work on it.
Is there any way to run a similar setup with my Macbook? I already have a mini-DVI to DVI adapter, and was wondering what would happen if I hook up a splitter to it. Something along the lines of:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150060921728&category=74939
(although I know the DVI-D and DVI-I is reversed...but something similar to this piece) Has anyone tried running a setup like this?
Thanks,
Dan
