Trust me, it may look cool but you don't want to do that. Apple took it out because it made OS X less usable and people hated it.

That being said I don't know of any apps that will make just the title bar transparent like that (probably because no one really wants it for long) but there are things like InvsRay that will make the entire window transparent. But again it can make things harder to read if you don't just have a single window on top of the desktop.

Hi - thanks for the information.XGL Compiz on Linux had the title bars ever so slightly transaprent (probably only 5% - 10%) and it added a nice edge to it. One thing (even if it's the only thing) I like about Vista's Aero theme is that slightly transparent frosted glass look. It's a shame Apple didn't leave it in as an option . . .
