Cant move or drag anything

Please if anyone has any ideas. I can no longer move anything, even to send to trash I have to right click and send. I downloaded various programmes from versin tracker yesterday and it has been like this since then.

The mouse works and keyboard i just cant move anything, which as you can imagine is a huge problem.

what programs did you download?

first steps i would take is to repair your permissions (do a forum search if you dont know how)
secondly, i would restart your computer

You have already diagnosed the problem...what programs did you download?

Acquisition (P2P) some programme to convert .mov audio to mp3, cant remember the name as im at work.

Ill have to check tonight.

I repaired permissions and rebooted.
