MacPro disk drive sounds scratchy at startup

When I power my MacBook pro on, the disk drive sounds scratchy. I've been burning some DVD's a couple of them might have been a little dirty. Could this be the problem?

The drive works fine but just sounds funny when it starts up. Is there anything I can do for it?
