I have a powerbook G4 1.25MHZ with 2GB RAM running 10.3.9 and I want to upgrade to Tiger. I use my PB mainly as my portable music composer and recording session tool. I use a MOTU 828 MKii firewire interrface and a Digigram VX pocket PC Card with two channel I/O.
Here is a list of my applications:
Cubase SX3, Hypersonic, Groove agent, Virtual Gtrs, Bias Peak 4
Lounge Lizard, BFD Drum Sampler, Melodyne.
I also have Adobe Creative Suite and some other odd little apps.
I'm reticent about updating to Tiger because of compatibility et al.
Is it just a matter of talking to all the software manufacturers and chackinjg that they will all run under Tiger ?
What should I do about back up ?
