Macbook EFI Firmware update 1.0

Just a hint if anyone is having issues after the update. I was, nothing would open after the firmware said it was installed and up to date. Nothing worked no safari, disk utility, Mail, System prefs. It was very aggrivating. I restarted from the apple menu 5 or so times. Still nothing. spotlight was flasing on and off. I had to do a hard reboot. Hold the power button down till the computer shuts off. Then turn it back on. Everything was back to normal. I was about to re-install the OS. Thankly I tried this first. I was starting to pull my hair out.:radioacti :bomb:
