Flash Problem:(

I tried installing flash player 9.0 for my Macbook and the installation when fine but then at the end where it pops open my browser to go to the install complete page a window comes up and says I am missing what I just installed. I can't watch movies on sites, even small things within a webpage that uses flash or shockwave I can't see or use? Any solutions?

Make sure you've downloaded the correct version from here.
Quite all applications when installing, then restart. See how that goes.
