I've got the Mac Pro and it comes standard with the 7300GT. I have a X1600 from my old Windows machine I moved from. Will this card work in my Mac Pro and would it be worth using compared to the 7300GT?

I do a lot of graphic design and 3d modeling, along with a bit of gaming from time to time.

PC video cards don't work on Macs. They have completely different firmware.

However, some of these cards can be hacked. Check out Strangedogs.com, it's a forum that should help you learn to flash the ROM of the PC card, and load Mac firmware into it. You'll need a PC to do it, though.

That's cool, I figured I'd have to do that. But is it a better card or should I stick with the 7300GT?

The 7300GT is better I think.
