Has anyone experienced any problems with gmail running painfully slow when reading emails through camino or firefox. I've done a lot of searching and can't seem to find a fix or anything remotely close to the problems I'm having.

Has anyone here had this problem or know of any way to resolve the issue?

I notice it takes longer for Mail to pick up my GMail E-Mails compared to my other E-Mail Accounts such as my ISP and dotMac email accounts

I'm referring to actually loading gmail in camino or firefox. It's painfully slow for me, no matter what I do and I can't seem to find anything on it online. I figured at first it may be a setting with my Mac Pro, but I tired it on my MacBook with safari and I still get the same problem.

weird... I was just experiencing this. not only is this happening to me, but it is also eating up CPU % as well. with just gmail, this page, and cnn.com open it is using between 18-23% of my processor. I like firefox so much because it looks better than safari's brushed metal skin, and because firefox is supported everywhere and safari isn't...
