Can't log into my account

I'm running tiger and one day i restarted my laptop. When it asks me for my password and I type it in a pop-up says that it cannot log on to my account at this time. I entered my master password and changed the log on password and still wont let me on. What do I do?

Start up from your Tiger install disk. Choose your language, at the Installer screen, go to the Utilities menu, change password. You will have the option of changing your password there. Just for fun, you should probably run Disk Utility --> Repair Disk while you are there.
