Something really bad happened to my iBook today. I accidentally had the power adapter connected to it and I placed it in my bag, later to find out that the power adapter part that goes into the charging slot of the iBook snapped. Now, the metal plug(the pointed object in the middle of the power addapter) part is stuck inside the charging hole. Apple is charging $300 to remove the broken piece that's stuck.
Does anyone know any way I can remove this? Thanks in advance!
Also, another question: If my battery is totally dead(0 min) meaning no battery life, can I always use the power adapter to take power straight from the power outlet, or will the computer not work because the battery is completely dead?
