volume levels

Whenever I burn a disc from itunes on playback the volume level changes from track to track. Is there any way of standardising the volume.

In itunes preferences, goto 'playback' and click on 'sound check'. Now goto 'Advanced' 'burning' and click the 'Use sound check' box. If your not satisfied with the results then I believe their are also third party programs which will do the same thing (no idea how well). Goto version tracker or Macupdate to find them.

I've done all that and it does not work. I'll try ROXIO and see if that sorts it out.
