My 15" 2.33 C2D is about a week old (since purchase)...

I have at least 2 dead pixels...does apple usually care about this?
If I cant get some other issues to work, I am going to see if they will
swap it out for another one...so I can try my apparent "luck" with another..

I was wondering if I can tell them about the dead pixels to strengthen my case?

It's my understanding that Applecare doesn't care about dead pixels. I don't think it's covered under the extended warranty. You might contact them though, if you've had other problems.

Why don't you just back up your files, and then return it for another one?
