I am trying to setup a Canon IP6600d via a netgear wireless print server. The one thing I need and do not have is the driver to point the printer install to. I can get a dmg from canon but it just has a pkg inside that wants to do a full blown install. I can not for the life of me find where on the hard drive OS X is storing the driver file after that install. Can anyone here point me to where I should tell the system to look for the driver after installing the printer software?

Gutenprint for OSX will do it for you.

I had a similar issue trying to use an Epson CX-7800 with a D-Link print server. It all works now... :)

Thanks for the suggestion. That sure added alot of printer drivers to my Mac. Unfortunatly though the Canon IP6600D was not one of them. I will have to keep searching :)
