Ok, I have a MBP 1.83. I upgraded from a 12" powerbook, that thing was my favorite thing ever. Anyways I've been thinking... I dont really need the 128 mb megs of video ram. I had been planning on using bootcamp to play battlefield 2, but I havent done that since I've owned it.
I wanted to go back down to a 13" Macbook. I love the smaller size.
Anyways I'd like your opinions. Here's what happens in my typical day....
I have at all times running..
skype
mail
firefox
safari
addressbook
itunes
bluephone elite
and sometimes timbuktu pro
My question is... considering that I have all that running... If I go to a macbook (the black is just way sexy) I plan on maxxing out the mem to 2gb. Would this be a worthwhile move? I just dont see the need for the 128mb of video ram and Id love to get something a bit smaller, not to mention that I could very easily windup with a faster processor to boot. Going from a 1.83 to a 2ghz or better.
WOuld this be a good move? Also, I do like to take my notebook outside.. is the matte screen easier to see or is the glossy of the macbook?
