CD Burner Not Found

I replaced the DVD Drive in my PowerMac G4 with a drive I had in one of my PC's. It works much better than the previous, except that System Profiler lists it as not having burning capabilities. I know this drive can burn DVDs and CDs. Do I have to enable it somehow? Download drivers? All burning programs say that they find now suitable drive for burning.

Sounds like the drive is not fully supported by OSX. Try downloading Patchburn. That should solve burning for you.

Be sure you download the correct version for the OSX you have installed.

Download patchburn 3, run it and it should fix the issue.

EDIT: Nice one dtravis7!

I think it's an I/O Magic drive, although it just says ATAPI under vendor. There aren't drivers listed for either of those.
