Macbook Pro Annoying Noise When Running Off Battery

I have a Macbook Pro Intel Core Duo, and when it is running off the battery and not plugged in to the AC adapter, it makes this annoying noise coming from the speakers. Its like a buzzing type sound that is very noticeable in a quiet enviroment like a library.

Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice? I have a 3 year warranty. Thanks.

BUMP

I have the same issue! I swapped the battery for another one and it kept doing it.

Any ideas?
