I am running a Power Mac G4 Server. Last night i threw in an additional hard drive and walked out of the room as I was transferring my music to the new hard drive. I came back to a blank screen. I tried to wake it up thinking it had went to sleep to no avail. I pressed the power button and the button lit up as long as i held it but the light went away as soon as I released and the system would not come on. Would this be the power supply gone bad or something else? Thanks for the help, I didn't find anything relevant using the search. :eek:neye:

Try disconnecting the new drive. It could be that the power supply doesn't have enough umph to start it with the additional drive plugged in.
