beyond being very pleased with my ibook, i have a few questions.

1) is there a scroll plug-in for the trackpad for a g3 ibook? i haven't been able to find one.

2) how the **** do i set up mozilla thunderbird? i have three e-mail accounts i need access to, and since i no longer share a computer with my gal, i can use an email client. i tried apple mail, and it was ok, but thunderbird seems better organized with more features. but none of the accounts are showing up. i really don't know what i'm doing, so it's probably something i did.

How are you adding accounts in Thunderbird? You go to the tools menu and at the bottom is accounts. Once in there, click Add Account. Choose Mail Account. The rest should be easy if you were able to set up Mail but if you still are having problems, let me know. I know thunderbird quite well.

What port do you have set up for the pop server on gmail? Should be port 995 and SSL checked. Here is a pic of the server settings for gmail here in thunderbird. Checked and it works.
