Hi,

I have a Powerbook G4 12".
I upgraded my hard drive to 100 Gb Hitahi Travelstar 72000RPM.
However, my computer died a few days ago.

My question is this:
If I bought a 15" or a 17" computer, would i be able to install my
lovely new hard drive and access all my hard work to date?
(yes I know I should have backed up)!

Or do the different sizes of powerbook need different Hard Drives?

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook 2.0GHz White, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD
If you bought a 17" powerbook, it should be fine. However, the MacBook Pro uses a SATA drive, so your powerbook drive wouldn't fit.

thanks, I kindoff thought they used the same but wasn't sure.
I will probably by second hand until I can afford the pleasure
of a Macbook Pro!
