accessing sky+ witha macbook

ok, so i have the mac hooked to the sky+ with a usb cable (male to male), but i am buggered if i can find out how to find it once connected.

anyone got any ideas. google searches tell me nothing.

any help apprecaited

I didn't know you could connect to a Sky box via any Laptop/PC....

Interesting, What are you meant to be able to do?

MacBook(W) 2Gb, 2Ghz & Bluetooth Mighty Mouse, Now my Apple glows colours, Red Apple and Green Leaf.
It wont be recognized there's no functionality yet. simple as. I know I've tried with Mac and PeeCee.

But you can use the port to charge iPods, well thats what I do. :)

thanks chaps, apparently you can, someone told me it was not "easy" but a mate said it was a doddle - seems he was wrong.

there are programs for the PC that allow you to stream the progs off the HD to the PC and burn store or whatever.

never mind, thought i might have able to get some good programmes off it.
