When I upgraded to iTunes 7, I notice that the scroll bar on the right hand of the window has changed color from the lovely Blue of the normal Aqua interface scheme to a dull looking gray. Is this standard with iTunes 7? Is there any way to get it back to the normal Aqua? Everything else is still Aqua, just the scroll bar slider is different. Thanks.

Nope, this is iTunes 7.

You could run a Shapeshifter theme that may, or may not, change it back.

I'm not a huge fan of it either.

Try Aqua4iTunes. It claims to do what you want, but I haven't tried it myself so I don't know for sure if it works.

Hadn't you heard?

Drab is the new 'lickable'!

:) Love it or hate it, at least it's always fresh and controversial!

michaelstumpf (and everyone else), I am a bit suspicious of this app Aqua4iTunes, it is a 22.8 MB download - just to restore a slider color??? I wonder if it is malware of any sort. Has anyone got any experience with it yet? Please post if you do... I have downloaded but am holding off installing just for now.

I am making the assumption that since it is available via VersionTracker it is more or less safe though. Is this a valid assumption in general?

Yeah, it should be fine.

If you have a look at it, it also says it includes several other themes, so all the art for those must take up quite a bit of space...

Thanks everyone. I loaded it up and Wow! what an improvement. I would strongly recommend this to others. Well worth it to have that nice Aqua theme back, plus there are lots of other color options you can experiment with. Go ahead, enjoy!
