HP deskjet 3845

hey, i have an ibook 12" g4 here, and i installed all the printer drivers off the included mac os x disk, yet whenever i try to print something, the printer task thing comes up then dissapears and it just doesn't print. i've tried restarting the laptop and the unplugging/replugging/rebooting the printer. still no luck.

help?
