Firefox will not play embedded video.

I am not sure when this started, but firefox will no longer play video, ie Youtube. Safari will play everything fine so i am forced into using it as my default browser. I figured maybe an i messed something up in preferences but there is nothing wrong that i can find.

Anyone else have this problem or know why firefox would stop playing video?
