Hello - I've installed Openoffice 2.0 for intel based macs (OS X) and it works well enough, my only problem (to which I can find no reference) is that the spellcheck does nothing. I tried changing the settings under the "writing aids" options such that the dictionary is set to english but the change never takes (when i go back in it is still set to Czech for some reasion). I really don't know what to do about this .... I like openoffice and would like to use it but only if it can correct my seplling :Op i'm not very good at that.
