I'm having problems searching for the memory allocation to a specific program. In the Classic OS, "Get Info" allotted memory allocation to a specific program, however, I can't seem to find any option in Panther. Please help. Thank you!

OS X automatically allocates the correct amount of memory to an application. as far as i know there's no way to change it yourself, but OS X does a good enough job of it anyways

Really? I'm having problems with Illustrator CS crashing ever so often. Quark 6 crashed on me several times as well.

Current system spec: Dual 2Ghz G5 with 2.5GB Ram.

I'm beginning to wonder is MACs always crash with fatal errors when deadlines come up. It's like as if it can read your mind on how desparate you are. ...sigh....

That would be a Illustrator G5 problem... but there is a way with the terminal. If your mac is doing it the terminal can change it. Take a look at your Activity Monitor. it will show the amount of RAM used by the app.
