I recently switched a little while ago, and I have a question. How do you make a hidden folder. I need to make a folder containing word documents, and the folder has to be hidden. Just for personal uses. Is it possible to make it hidden and easy to access?

Have you considered creating an encrypted disk image and storing the files in there? The disk image file will be visible, but its contents won't, except when you open the disk image by double clicking and providing the password you set it up with.

You can create such disk images using Disk Utility.

I do this myself to store all sensitive financial records and other personal data, keeping it all safe, secure and largely invisible.

i dont have no mac's
best way to keep things hidden is to create another user account and keep it password protected....you can still give yourself access to all the other stuff on your other accounts etc.
