Strange iTunes/iPod Problem

I am uisng iTunes 7.0.1 and I just noted that if I do not have an album ame for a song, it appears in my iPod only if I do sort my library by song. However, it does not appear if I sort out my whole library by artist.

Doeas anyone have any idea how to fix this?
