I am looking to get an Airport card for my iMac (which needs the original 802.11b card) but they are so expensive and go for £70+ even second hand.
I have head that some other wireless cards are basically Airport cards with different labels on and an antenna stuck on the end but will be detected as an Airport card in my mac.
One of these cards is the Sony ERA-201D1, which is for the Aibo robot dog.
Can anybody confirm that this card will work?
Or are there any alternatives?
