I asked Apple tech support this, and they said "8ms".

Wow, I find it weird in gaming on the highest res I get slight ghosting (or flickering). Maybe its just the drivers, I should see what its like in windows.

Hmm I don't get any ghosting on mine when playing Quake4. You may be getting the flickering due to what is known as 'tearing' - when the frames-per-second rate on the game exceeds what your monitor can display. Try turning vsync on in the graphics options for any games you play (if available) - that may help.
