Hi!
My macbook hung up while I was working, It didn't respond by any manner so I realesed the battery.. The result was that OSX didn't start, instead the screen shows me a folder with an interrogation mark over it...
As I have all my data saved in other media I don't mind to reinstall. I have tried it without success.
OSX installer just don't see my HD, When it asks me where to install I only have as an option the DVD unit.... I have tried the Disk utility but is also shows me only the DVD unit. However System profiler shows me what I think is the HD model (I don't remember the model rigth now).
What should I do? Do you think the HD is damaged? Any suggestion?

Thanks!

iI you don't see your disk while running the disk utiltiy application, I hazard a guess and say you most likely lost your disk.
