Office 2004 problem

In my company there is one new MacBook Pro, OSX 10.4.7. It's updated last month.
A few days ago strange thing started to happen with keyboard in Office 2004 applications: the keyboard just doesn't work. At the same time I can rename icon on my Desktop. So it's not keyboard.
When I restart application (Entourage, Word) the keyboard is working again.

It's really stupid. I don't know what do to.
Does anyone have an idea?
