Is there away to rename the trash?

The word just annoys me it doesn't make sense, Lol...Now this might be hard to understand if your American but ever since I got my Mac. It's annoying still.

I've never said the word before, well at least not regularly anyway.

Just doesn't sound right.

Do you mean "...if you're an American..." :black: What do you want to rename it? I can't see it being called anything else but Trash...

That sounds stupid aswell though... See I never liked what OS's called the "Trash" folder but I've still never been able to come up with a better name.

Waste Hole?
Teenage Wasteland
Garbage
Jive
Black Hole
Gone But Not Really
...

That whole bit didn't work for me... I just tried it...

cd /System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app/\ Contents/Resources/English.lproj
sudo cp InfoPlist.strings InfoPlist.bak
sudo cp InfoPlist.strings ~/Desktop/InfoPlist.txt

I was able to navigate to English.lproj without an issue. Once I tried to execute the first sudo command, bash returned a message of :

cp: InfoPlist.strings: No such file of directory

when I ran the ls command, I found that there was another directory I had to go through - Contents. In there, I found something called info.plist .....any ideas?

How about "Really old files that I think I should get rid of but not really sure, so I'll just put them in here till Tech Support comes and empties it and then I can blame them for deleteing my important files" bin?

Well that comes from personal experience of working for Tech support.
