My battery/charge info says 97% is fully charged...
will it every say its 100% again?

Its a new MBP, less than a week, and for the first few days, it would return to 100% upon a full charge..

Any thoughts, ideas?

Have you calibrated your battery yet? Pg 24 of the user's guide.

Let your battery drop to less than 95% and then plug it back in. It will then charge up to 100%. The battery will not start charging until it is less than 95%.
