I never and have never backed up anything before, however I'm beginning to think I should.

For backing up my Music, Photo's, File Settings, Bookmarks, etc is there any piece of Software/Hardware or certain solution in which you'd recommend.

These days, storage is so cheap that you don't need any special software. Just go out and buy yourself an external hard drive of suitable size (this is a $100-$200 purchase these days), and simply copy your Documents, Pictures, Music etc. folders onto it. Done! Very, very simple. That is the key to backups. Unless it is simple, you won't do it regularly.

If you want to be extra safe, use SuperDuper which will create a full, bootable copy on your external drive. Then, if your drive ever dies you'll have another drive ready to boot (and copy to your replacement drive).
