usb port

i have just bought the eye tv hybrid software package.it needs a 2.0 usb port to run.my G4 powerbook's built-in usb port is 1.1.is it possible to upgrade/update this to 2.0?

can anyone help with this

I don't think so. Usb is attached to the logic board.

No, you would need a PCI slot to do that and laptops just aren't made with that sort of upgrade in mind. neye:

if your powerbook has a pcimia slot you could probably buy a usb 2.0 card for it for pretty cheap

Yep, around 30$ should find you a nice pcmcia adapter card with USB 2.0
