I've just purchased Sony Bravia HD tv and I have it connected it to my MBP (via DVI) to watch high def shows and movies. Right now I'm using a DVI to VGa cable, but I'd like to take advantage of the HDMI port on the tv to get a better picture. Anyone know if the difference will be noticable?

Your Mac's Specs
2.0 GHz Macbook Pro, 1.5 GB RAM.....1.83 GHz Macbook 1 GB RAM
you will be able to tell a slight difference. with a really nice flat panel, its probably worth using HDMI

it better be. VGA is an analog signal. HD content will not show up as true "HD" content using an analog signal. To get HD you need to use DVI or HDMI. without those 2 its not pure HD content.
