Ok so I uncheck songs because I don't want them on my nano, but I still want them to play (during random/when I'm just going in order) when I'm using Itunes v 7...

help.

Can't have it both ways. I suggest making a playlist to sync with the nano and don't have the nano look at whether songs are checked or not

That's horrible. I don't care about random mode in Itunes...I just want it to play through my playlist without skipping over my unchecked songs.

bummer.

the playlist idea is pretty solid though....

yea just leave all of your music checked, and just drag whatever you want on your nano onto a playlist of whatever you want.

Nice. to be honest that's great. A lot better than what I was doing before with the checking/unchecking when I had a 20 gig ipod.
