I'm not a Mac, Cocoa, Carbon programmer. (Years ago, sure, but I've forgotten everything.)
I want to add a "Delete" option to every application's "File" menu. Especially Preview.
I view a lot of PDFs online. I currently have my browser (Firefox) open them in Preview. Most aren't worth keeping. A copy is placed on my desktop. To delete the file, I have to close the file, switch to Finder, etc.
It'd be great if I could just delete the open file directly from the application itself.
How's this kind of thing done these days?
