Hard drive upgrades

hello:

I have an apple powerbook g4. I am upgrading my hard drive. I dont know what specifications do i have to look for in order for it to be compatible. I am confused about the ATA-6 o SATA , or ATA100. I would like to know what should i look for on the specifications.
