Handbrake help - no sound

hi guys, i've been using handbrake to back my dvds up on my hard drive for quite some time now. just recently i have experienced some probelms with sound. in two recent instances, the movies copied to my hd fine, but with no sound. just sondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is something i am doing wrong? thanks.

well i just thought of something. i only tried playing it in quicktime. maybe i'll try palying it in vlc when i get home tonight. think that might work?

I don't think that's where the problem is. Quicktime should play the mp4 files no problem. And with the right plugins it'll play the avi files as well. What settings did you choose for sound?

If possible, post a snapshot of the handbrake screen before you start the file going - maybe we could narrow it down then. ;)
