First, it's the trash can :)

What way are you using to delete the file? Are you just pressing Del or Command-Backspace?
Inside the bin, there is no contextual option to delete anything.
AFAIK, that sound comes up only when emptying the trash completely.

Restart your Mac and quit all the Adobe / HTML related Apps. from the Activity monitor. Then try to empty the RB (Securely Empty)

Try doing a "Secure Empty Trash". Click the Desktop and go to the Finder menu. Sometimes that works when I have a stubborn file.

Drag the rogue to the desktop and check the permission on it. Maybe the problem. I had the very same thing with a .dmg but I can't for the life of me recall how I eventually deleted it.

Is this rogue part of something that's currently installed on your HD? You might need something like AppZapper to uninstall it then if you still have the original .dmg file then you could re-install it.

Open your "Activity Monitor" (Apps->Utilities->Activity Monitor)

Find Adobe CS2 on the list that is shown... Click on it, then click the Red "Quit Proces in the upper left of the window.

Now try to empty the trash.

Hope that helps.

If you've restarted already, try checking your login items. Some adobe thing is starting up and using that file.
